Built to cut made-up answers

Ask your course materials anything.

Anchor answers from your own notes, PDFs, slides and spreadsheets. It quotes the exact words, shows where they came from, and says plainly when your materials don't cover something, instead of making it up.

Your course files

Drag PDFs, Word documents, slides, notes, pictures and spreadsheets straight into the chat. Anchor reads each one once, then answers from it every time.

What Anchor reads
Graphs, flowcharts and screenshots

Pictures get a written description so answers can use them, and the picture appears beside any answer that rests on one.

Spreadsheets

Every cell is kept with its row and column labels, so a question about a figure is answered from the exact cell.

Private to you

Your Library is yours alone: nothing you add is shared with other users. Delete a file and it leaves every search index.

Connectors Soon

Keep your Library in sync with Google Drive, OneDrive, Notion and your course site.

Sources on every answer

Check any answer in one click.

Each step quotes the words it rests on. Its Source button opens the excerpt beside your chat with those words marked, and one more click opens the file at that page, line or cell.

If a step can't be matched to your files, the answer is marked Unsure and says which check failed.

Honest about gaps

It tells you when your materials don't say.

Ask something your files don't cover, and Anchor says so instead of guessing. Ask something they only half cover, and you get that half, plus a plain note about what's missing.

Pictures, too

Reads your flowcharts, graphs and screenshots.

Pictures in your files are described so answers can use them. When an answer rests on one, Anchor shows the picture right beside it, so you can check the reading at a glance.

Spreadsheets

Numbers straight from the cell.

Questions about figures go to your spreadsheets first. The answer names the exact cell, and a click takes you to it.

On your phone, too

Your course, in your pocket.

Anchor runs in your phone's browser, on Android and iPhone, with nothing to install. Ask between classes; the sources come with every answer.

Paper handouts, too

Snap a page. Ask about it.

Tap the camera button and photograph each printed page. Anchor crops and straightens every photo, flags any that look blurry or empty, and reads its text.

Check what it read beside each photo and fix any word it got wrong before you save. Answers from a scanned page still show you the page.

Why Anchor?

The same AI model answers in both columns. Anchor adds what it reads first, and what it checks after.
